There are two ways in which our soils can be remineralized:
1. Apply rock powder, or
2. Wait for the next ice age and let Mother Nature do it.
We purchased 60 packages/bags of vegetables and peaches from growers or retailers in the summer of 2015 and sent them to Exova in Surrey, BC to be analyzed for 30 minerals.
As we read the labels at the supermarket we are educating ourselves mostly as to what is bad or not good for us to eat.
It struck me as odd that growers or retailers never provide, in any detial, the amount of important nutrients available from the various foods that they grow/sell.
We purchased 60 packages/bags of vegetables and peaches from growers or retailers in the summer of 2015 and sent them to Exova in Surrey, B.C. to be analyzed for 30 minerals; 10 minerals considered the most significant are being used for this report. We hope to compare these levels with levels from decades ago and establish a baseline from which to move forward.
Remineralizing our mineral depleted soils wil be a significant factor in the long term sustainability of food production.
